Cleansing Operative
Milestone Infrastructure is currently looking to recruit a cleansing operative to work with our litter team on our SIA Hinkley Point C contract in Bridgwater, Somerset.
Milestone Infrastructure Services head-up the SIA service for NNB site operations. In conjunction with the Core maintenance contract, Milestone deliver Civil Engineering schemes which are predominantly enabling works to the main Nuclear Power station construction.
As a member of the cleansing team, you will be part of our SIA Core Service team who are responsible for managing and delivery for the Core service maintenance contract on the HPC site.
As a member of our cleansing team, your duties & responsibilities will be:
- Litter collection on walking routes on site at HPC and at the park and ride locations.
- Ensuring the compound remains in an orderly and tidy condition.
- Operational involvement in the Winter service delivery
- Following safe systems of work
- Ensuring work areas are tidy and secure.
- Ensuring safety standards are maintained.
- Following the relevant site Codes of Conduct.
- To ensure the highest possible Health, Safety & Environmental standards are employed across the service.
Skills & Knowledge
Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to communicate with the operational team.
An understanding of health & safety.

Requirements
You must be able to obtain a HPC pass to be offered a permanent contract of employment.
You must be able to provide a 3-year Documented History which should include Education/Work/ or any periods of unemployment these are required for the vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
