QUALITY ENGINEER - CONSTRUCTION, MANUFACTURING & ENGINEERING FOCUS

We're looking for a Quality Engineer with a background in construction, manufacturing, or engineering to bring their technical expertise and improvement mindset to the Sizewell C Project Delivery Organisation (PDO).
This is your chance to work on a nationally significant initiative with long-term prospects, cutting-edge challenges, and the opportunity to shape quality delivery across a complex engineering programme.
Your Mission:
Working alongside the Quality Lead, you'll help embed robust Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) practices across manufacturing and construction activities. You'll be a key player in ensuring right first-time delivery by:
- Supporting daily QA/QC governance activities and managing project quality documentation
- Developing and executing process audit plans
- Driving continuous improvement and implementing new quality methodologies
- Participating in internal audits, reviews, and digital quality tool implementation
- Monitoring the deployment of quality standards across stakeholders and locations
- Facilitating quality training and awareness across delivery teams
- Collaborating with cross-disciplinary project members to resolve quality issues
What You Bring:
Essentials:
- HNC/HND or higher in a science or engineering discipline
- Proven experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineering environments
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems
- Strong grasp of quality tools, auditing techniques, and data tracking
- Ability to manage documentation and digital tools (SharePoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset
- UK travel flexibility
