Job Title: Change Controller
Location: Halifax, NS
Salary: $71,280 – $79,397
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure all changes are processed through the formal change lifecycle, from drafting to implementation
- Monitor and update stakeholders on the status of changes to ensure timely completion and minimize disruption to operations
- Raise issues when changes encounter obstacles or delays, working proactively to remove barriers and facilitate progress
- Oversee the full change lifecycle for production-related changes, ensuring that changes are properly documented, tracked, and completed within the agreed timelines
- Manage change backlogs and ensure that all changes are appropriately prioritized and moved through the change process
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Solid understanding of the change lifecycle process and ability to manage multiple changes simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, senior leadership, and technical teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to identify bottlenecks and proactively address challenges
Desirable:
- Proficiency in Data Sense or similar tools for tracking and reporting metrics
- Familiarity with PLM tools such as Windchill, Siemens, or similar platforms

The Change Management team:
You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team made up of eight members based in the UK and Canada, with the Canadian presence actively growing. This role involves close coordination with both the Halifax-based team in Canada and the UK team, all working together on the River Class Destroyer program within the Engineering PMO. You will be interacting with a diverse set of stakeholders across multiple countries, including project managers and PMO representatives both locally and internationally.
