An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Electrically biased Construction Delivery Lead to join the Hinkley Point C Project-one of the most significant nuclear new build projects in Europe. This role sits within the Construction Delivery Group, a key part of the integrated Site Construction Directorate, responsible for overseeing Tier 1 contract partners and ensuring the successful planning, management, and coordination of multi-disciplinary construction activities.

About the Role
As a key member of the Construction Delivery Team, you'll play a hands-on leadership role in managing contractors, ensuring safety, and driving electrical construction activities. You'll oversee the installation and delivery of temporary electrical infrastructure required for construction operations, ensuring all works meet safety, quality, and schedule standards.
This role requires 50% site-based presence and 50% office-based coordination, reporting to the Senior Construction Delivery Manager.
Principal Accountabilities
* Lead day-to-day construction activities for non-permanent electrical infrastructure.
* Manage and support Construction Delivery Managers on safety, logistics, and work coordination.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
* Chair and contribute to PLOWs, PLODs, and coordination meetings.
* Liaise closely with Tier 1 contractors, site functions, and project controls.
* Review and approve Work Authorisation Forms (WAFs), RAMS, LTQRs and documentation.
* Monitor contractor progress and site readiness through DSLs and surveillance reporting.
* Support delivery of evidence for Delivery Work Packs and End of Erection Status Reports.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Proven experience delivering large-scale M&E or MEH packages on complex construction or infrastructure projects.
* Electrically biased background with strong knowledge of temporary construction power systems.
* Proven experience in major infrastructure, power, or nuclear projects.
* Strong leadership in construction delivery with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Excellent stakeholder management with a clear understanding of site safety and delivery milestones.
* Comfortable leading toolbox talks, daily briefings, and high-level contractor coordination.
* Familiarity with documentation systems like Fieldview, Teamcenter, QCFC, SONIMS or similar.
