Energus is a training and conference facility based in West Cumbria. We facilitate award winning Graduate and Apprenticeship Programmes nationally on behalf of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) and the wider nuclear industry. Energus have over 10 years' experience managing Graduate and Apprenticeship Programmes across the UK. We address skills shortages across the nuclear industry and ensure a continuous pipeline of talent into the industry.

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) is a non-departmental public body created through the Energy Act 2004. We're charged with the mission to clean up the UK's earliest nuclear sites safely, securely and cost-effectively. Doing this with care for our people, communities and the environment is at the heart of our work. We're committed to overcoming the challenges of nuclear clean-up and decommissioning, leaving our 17 sites safe and ready for their next use. We deliver our mission through our site license companies and subsidiaries. NDA's role is to support our sites, businesses and employee's, optimising delivery by providing group leadership, focus and governance.
Job Purpose
To work in partnership with Energus sponsor organisations to support and develop graduate and Apprentice talent, throughout their respective programme of delivery, utilising your skills and expertise effectively to guiding them successfully towards roles across the UK nuclear and related sectors.
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Effectively support a caseload of graduates/apprentices throughout all aspects of their respective programme
- Contribute to the development and implementation of development programmes for graduates and apprentices
- Provide guidance and support to participants, facilitating their ongoing development, progression and transition to employment
- Contribute to the development and delivery of engaging training, workshops and learning initiatives
- Track and evaluate participant progress, identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- Lead on additional quality improvement projects, linking to the programme team activity as directed
- Maintain effective and productive relationships with key programme stakeholders
- Support other areas of the People and Skills team where possible, during periods of high demand
- Ensure compliance with all Energus policies and procedure
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in supporting early career development
- Understanding of UK nuclear sector current landscape and emerging trends
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with participants, professionals and partners
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and participant success
- Excellent IT and administration skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines with good prioritisation and time management skills
- Adaptable and flexible
Role detail
Salary: £30,663 per annum
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday; 08:30 to 16:30 (flexible working negotiable for the right candidate)
Closing Date: 23:59 Sunday 13th April
