Resourcing Officer / Roster Clerk

What is the key purpose of this role?

Job Purpose

As a member of the Resourcing team, provide train crew rosters and diagrams to ensure that all business requirements and customer train plan requirements are met safely, reliably, and compliantly.

Key Expectations of the Job Holder

Create, issue, manage and amend cost-effective live traincrew rosters, train plans, diagrams and daily sheets, including accommodation, and transport resources.
Ensure all diagrams and rosters:
- Are safe, secure and reliable
- Meet customer expectations
- Meet commercial targets
- Comply with national, railway and nuclear mandated regulations and standards
Ensure clear and concise handover with the control team.
Manage rostering changes and reallocate work to traincrew in line with additional service requirements, cancellations, Short Term Plan (STP) paths, training, medical, ad hoc demands and uncovered turns.
Accurately produce and update WTT traincrew diagrams which meet revised timetable and business specifications in the most productive and effective manner.
Ensure 100% compliance and verify all WTT/Short term traincrew diagrams produced comply with DRS terms and conditions.
Measure and report performance against agreed Integrated Business Performance (IBP) key performance indicators (KPIs), including Traincrew sickness, annual leave, contract hours, and additional Traincrew payments.
Ensure Traincrew annual leave is managed in accordance with terms and conditions.
Support implementation of link changes into base and weekly rosters and daily sheet templates.
