Job Title: Principal Nuclear Safety Engineer
Job Type: Contract
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Start Date: Subject to clearance
Duration: 6-12 Months
Pay Rate: Competitive/Negotiable
Location: Bristol, Altrincham, Glasgow, Epsom or Silchester
Hybrid/Remote Working: Largely on site
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Role Information:
- Leading safety assurance activities during the design, construction, operation and decommissioning phase
- Supporting clients in managing safety and ensuring compliance within Site License Conditions
- Managing safety case production matters
- HAZOP and other identification studies
- Carrying out safety/risk assessments

Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Can lead and influence on establishment, maintenance and improvement within a highly regulated environment
- Able to consider wider health, environmental, security, quality and impacts on achieving full safety compliance
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication, problem solving and presentation skills
- Someone who can demonstrate an understanding of good engineering judgement and utilise fundamental skills
- Posses the ability to lead the production of safety case activities and manage teams to deliver safety case documentation
- Strong stakeholder management skills
