Role: Logistics Analyst - Hinkley Point C

Duration: Ongoing Contract
Pay: £170 p/d PAYE + 36 days annual leave // £235 p/d Umbrella
Join one of the UK's largest and most complex infrastructure projects at Hinkley Point C (HPC) - a nationally significant build that will supply low-carbon electricity to over six million homes. With over 22,000 workers contributing and thousands of supply chain partners engaged, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a once-in-a-generation energy project.
As Logistics Analyst, you'll play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of materials across the project. You'll work within the Logistics Operations team, analysing data, supporting performance monitoring, and driving operational efficiency across warehousing, transport and 3PL services.
Principal Accountabilities
* Support the Senior Logistics Operations Manager with data consolidation, KPI reporting, and dashboard creation.
* Liaise with internal teams and external 3PL providers to ensure accurate tracking of logistics performance.
* Analyse trends and identify constraints or improvement opportunities in warehousing and material flow.
* Coordinate logistics data inputs from WMS systems and partner-managed platforms.
* Deliver insights to inform critical decision-making and logistics planning.
* Assist in supplier performance reviews and KPI-based reporting to Commercial and Procurement teams.
* Prepare reports and presentations to internal stakeholders, highlighting logistics performance and risk.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in logistics, supply chain, or materials management within a complex, highly regulated industry (nuclear, aerospace, rail, defence, energy).
* Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, and WMS systems.
* Analytical mindset with ability to extract insights from large datasets.
* Strong understanding of logistics operations such as inventory, warehousing, and transport.
* Collaborative, solutions-focused, and comfortable working across multi-disciplinary project teams.
* Degree-qualified or working towards a qualification in Engineering, Logistics, Construction, or a related field.
