Job Title: Operations Leader

Salary: £45,628+ depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and developing a team of technicians in a fast-paced environment
- Managing the day-to-day running of the site, dealing with issues and escalations
- Providing updates to the Area Manager
- Completing forward planning of work and forecasting completion
- Liaising and building rapport with internal and external customers regarding asset maintenance
- Providing an overview of issues and escalations
- Supporting Team Leaders and teams in their personal development through coaching and mentoring
- Providing performance management to ensure all employees are effectively recognised, motivated and engaged in their work
- Review of processes along with data identifying opportunities for continues improvements
Your skills and experience:
Essential:
- Experience within a Site & Facilities / Infrastructure environment
- Proven leadership experience
- Proficient with SAP and Building Management Systems
- Competent in standard MS software tools
Desirable:
- Awareness of site license conditions and environmental permits
- Understanding of facilities management compliance to statutory requirements

The Facilities Management Team:
This is a great opportunity to work in an area with great investment and be involved with all the Submarine builds. You’ll be a key player in developing the yard for future builds and get great exposure across the wider business. This role also offers excellent development and progression opportunities. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
