Job title: Principal Commissioning Engineer

Start date: Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 Months
Pay rate: £71.34 - £76.34 + Expenses allowance (£100 per diem)
Location: Reading, 5 days on site
Hours of work: 11 days on 3 days off (66 hours average a week)
Role information:
- Supervise the commissioning technicians
- Adhere to the agreed Commissioning Quality Management System and ensuring that the team correctly apply procedures, codes and standards to commissioning activities.
- Day to day progress monitoring and reporting.
- Provide input to the production and checking of commissioning documentation.
- Responsible for production and checking of the Commissioning Test Documentation.
- Liaise with the client team and other project disciplines
- Assist with the identification of FAT requirements
- Carry our risk assessments and produce safe systems of work
- Compilation and review f Commissioning LTQR packages
- Day to day planning of commissioning execution activities
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- HNC minimum
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
- CSCS/ECS Affiliated cards (in date) in specific discipline
- Experience leading commissioning engineers and technicians
- Experience with the handover to end user
- 18th Edition Electrical
- Conversant with Siemens S7 and Simocode, WinCC, Profibus and PICS software packages
- Familiar with Commissioning procedures
